Human Resource Development in Environment

Transition to low-carbon society is vital to prevent global warming and create a sustainable society.

Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities has been involved in the course "Design A Low-Carbon Society" offered at Keio University Graduate School of Media and Governance since 2009 for environmental business class. In spring 2011, the course was restructured and started as International Program for Environmental Innovators and we have continued. Also, as part of program, we accepted summer internship students from the course. Through these activities, we engage ourselves in environmental leadership development to bring up specialists with high knowledge and skills in the field.

Lectures and speeches on global environmental issues

We provide lectures on environmental business and carbon credit (CDM, JCM) at various universities such as Sophia University, Waseda University and Yokohama National University. More recently, we also present on private companies' initiatives related to ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) investment and also on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), at the university-sponsored events.
